| Just a quick question I have always considered. Since this website is basically responsible for a good 50% of teachers who arrive here in the first place, I think it's an interesting question. |

Many cute kitties would no longer find good homes.
That and Current Events regulars would kill their loved ones. |

Many of the socially inadequate parasitic computer nerds who so regularly post nothing but put-downs would have to get back to playing warcraft online and sifting through their porno collection.

| Lots of people would unknowingly sign bad contracts and believe their bosses that working without a visa, working at ten schools, etcetera, is perfectly legal. |

If Dave's ESL CAFE disappear, I am sure ESL teachers in Korea will have better mental health ( I am not joking ).
I even think Korean government need to do something about this site ( SERIOUS ). |

The Korean government needs to do something about this site Miss Seoul? Well then, will they do something about the constant harrasment, staring, screwing over, ripping off, of teachers who come here to teach english in a country where us whiteys are constantly considered a filthy, sex crazed, aids ridden minority?
Having fun in the U.S.A.? Improving your english? Maybe we should do something about Naver or Daum? Maybe us waygooks should all leave? Is that your point?
Stupid girl! |

LOL, partly because my wife kicked me in the scrotum today, and laughter is indeed the best medicine. More kickboxing in Bundang, I say. Gotta stay sharp. |

I agree, the Korean government SHOULD do something about this site. Like make it required daily reading for all public servants, along with weekly Dave's tests, the scores on which shall determine salary and promotion.
But if you, MissSeoul, meant that the Korean government should do something like block domestic internet access to Dave's ESL Cafe, then I have only one request. That is to keep the Current Events Forum open. It provides a valuable public service (primal scream therapy) for many foreigners who might otherwise turn their hostility toward those around them, including innocent Korean citizens. Unpredictable mood swings, acting up, belching, spitting, antisocial behaviour, and even physical violence... in short, they will go native. |
