Upon arriving in Korea I found myself calling the director, who doesn't speak any English, after being in transit for 15 hours. After three calls and about 2 and a half hours, they picked me up. The previous teacher was still in the apartment so they put me up in a sex motel. I'm pretty sure it was a sex motel because it had a vending machine that sold balls on a string.

On my first day in Korea I made the mistake of coming to work just to check it out. I couldn't sleep well in the love motel and wanted to see what the place was like. They saw it as an excellent opportunity to start my training early and stuck me in a classroom with the previous teacher who seemed eager as hell to get out of there. So there I was in the classroom after having been awake for about a day and a half, fifteen hours of which being in transit.

The roomate:

He arrived a little later than I did but the first night that we went out all he talked about was how ugly all the women were. I just couln't help but think, dude, you're possibly the ugliest guy in here. Why do you even bother to say retarded crap like this? This guy is a class act, and by that I mean he loves to talk about how many Korean girls he intends to put his d*** into some rather uncomfortable place. Just the other day he was talking about how many Muslim virgins he fi***r ba***d in Africa, and even got to tap one of them. Maybe he's a pathological liar, because it just doesn't seem possible.

This guy's like Casanova. He's been hitting the Church circuit because there is no better place to meet chicks to bang than Church. So far he doesn't seem to be having any luck because the only two people who seem to have taken an interest in him are two of our Korean co-workers. I'm pretty sure he decided to come to Korea because self-respecting western women would run like Prefontaine from this guy. After all, Korean women may be culturally unaware enough for him to get some nookie. One Friday night, one of them was over really late. I never heard her leave.
