this may be a silly question, but . . .

a friend of my boyfriend recently sent a note out that his school has openings in march. i am going in for an interview with the director at this school tomorrow, but am wondering if i should still talk to the other teachers and outgoing teacher about the conditions at the school. the person who recommended it loved the school and was singing its praises, though didn't offer many details other than the vacation time.

also, are there questions that i should be asking the director other than the standard details about the job (hours, pension, tax, medical, overtime, etc.)

any help is appreciated. thanks!

I would still get as much information as possible. More information isn't going to hurt you. Less information might.

The more questions you ask not only give you more info, but it makes you look interested, analytical and professional. They may also think you have other opportunities, so they may want to hire you even more to get the goods that everyone else wants.
