...appropriate for middle-school students. No specific level or topic. Here's to hoping that someone has done one of these recently and has a list of questions handy.

I don't have the traditional questions anymore but hit my powerpoint button and you'll find a powerpoint for both adv (probably middle school) and beginners. Scroll, it is under Golden Bell. If you want to use them as a traditional Golden Bell, you will have to modify.

I think I have others on my laptop and will look tonight for you.....a whole wack there, pretty difficult stuff.

Superlatives work very well - what's the highest mountian / longest river / fastest animal / tallest building in Korea, etc.

Questions about geography work well, too.

So do 'what am I' questions. I have two hands, a face, and tell time, etc.

Spelling bee questions are easy and straightforward.

So are fill-in-the-blanks.

If you want something more challenging, make-a-sentence questions are good for getting them thinking. 'are / department / going / next / store / the / they / to / week' - make a sentence with those words, etc.

What doesn't belong - cow / fish / horse / pig / sheep - what doesn't belong?

Opposites - what is the opposite of far?, etc.

Golden Bell quizes tend to work best if you put them in pairs, I've found.

Thanks guys. I'm not organising it. I was just asked to give a list of 15 questions by the end of the day for a Golden Bell. It's easy enough coming up with questions, but it's nice getting feedback from people who've already had made questions.

EDIT: DD, I just grabbed your golden bell presentation. It's perfect!! I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks again.

I have used questions from here: http://www.teflgames.com/samplesp.html

They worked well for middle school students.
