Does anyone know anything about this place? I read some negative reviews online (all by the same person), but the guy I talked to on the phone was really great. He said she was mad because she was docked pay for absences.

Any insight (even hearsay) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I live on Jeju but i can't help you with your question. My advice is to log on to rhymeswithjeju (yahoo groups) and ask the board. I am certain you will get a response from those in the know.

Did you talk to this guy while he was at work on in his own time?
He will probably have more to say if he is speaking to you away from his school where the director is probably listening in.

O.P. just beeen looking at one of the current threads and there was a link to a black list and Oxford English camp popped up. Involved all kinds of illegal activities, police and immigration were involved and the poor girl had to return home after 3 weeks. They were made to work1 2 hr days and weekends and were constantly screamed at. My memory does now recall this horror show and i am sure we are talking about the same place. My advice is to stay well clear unless of course you like hell. Apparently the owner owned Wonderland in the past but it was closed down and the owner did some bird. Oh, and by the way no teachers were paid and none of the foreigner teachers had visas and immi did a big stake out and busted the place.

If you go to unium college thread and scroll down you will found the link (seamonkey.ed) to this particular school, the school seems to go by several names. One being Oxford, another Korea campus group and Jjeu International English Village. I could be totally wrong but i thought it was best to at least direct you to this link.
