if anyone's out there, listens to damien rice, check out his latest off-ing.
he's not being very experimental, sticking to old sounds from the last album, but it's still VERY good. i say that of course cuz ima fan.

I saw Damein Rice on Conan, I believe, or another late night talk show. He played "Volcanos" and got louder and used distortion in his performance. I bought his album for the mix of soft and distorted music, but was disappointed to find he stayed soft on the entire album and likes to whine a lot. He is a good musician, just not my flavor unless I want to put on something sensitive for a lady friend. |

yea, he IS a bit of a 'crooner', probably why i dig him.if you liked that he used distortions, check out 'Me, myself and my yoke' |
