So I was just asked to do a camp from Dec 18-22. I said yes.... anythign to get me out of my regular school....

and then I found out it was a night class... from 5-830... outside of my city ( still don't know where) and I still have to teach my regular classes..
I'm assuming I would have to leave my school early to go to it....

anyways... this is going to make a super long work week. that's over 12 hours a day.... I was told... maybe it's 100,000 won extra a day.... but who knows... could be way less...

So should I do it?>? a quick extra 500,000 in a week before winter break>? I guess I will....

what are you experiences teaching camps?? I've never done one before... and I know 2 other ppl who have said no... so I hope I don't end up being the only one teaching it....

it's for elementary and middle school apparently....

hmmmmmm

If you don't know how much you will get...why the hell are you saying yes? I never agree to anything unless I know exactly what I will get for doing it. Man, if they can't give you a reasonable amount of money then it is not worth doing it. I would ask for clear details because it sounds like they are purposely not being clear with you...."SHAFTED!!!"

---remember that they are not giving you extra overtime money to be nice...they will make money. If you are going through your school then they will give you crappy overtime money that is is your contract. Check the contract and it will probably say 18,000~20,000 won per hour overtime.

Make sure you get a visa to go along with the job, unless you're F2~5.

Doesn't seem that great.
