Have you noticed it, too?

I can pick them out of a crowd, the ones who have lived overseas for a significant amount of time, and actually learned something about a way of living and thinking that is "free". There's something in their face, something in the way the talk, walk.

Encountered one today at the supermarket. She apologized for the rudeness of a Korean lady there. (See my subposting to the thread "Another benefit of xenephobia . . ." for details.)

Yeah, it seems to me that most Koreans who have lived abroad for any amount of time have a certain "spring" in their step...or maybe it's a certain confidence?

I wonder if those of US who've lived abroad for any amount of time give off the same vib in our home countries?
