I have to do my first "camp" in a few weeks. I thought I might take the charmers ona field trip to an English-speaking place in Seoul. I speculated that a military base or embassy might have standardized public tours.

Does naybody have epxeriences, knowledge, info to share about field trips near Seoul (I live in Ansan). Everything needs to be accessible by public transportation.

I doubt very much that you will be able to take a field trip on a military base unless you have a military ID. Then you are still restricted to the number of people you can bring on. On many of the bases, you will even need a reason (a real reason and field trip doesnt count) to be there. After that, unless you have made prior arrangements with the appropriate commanders to bring people through their place of work, they will be limited to walking around outside or in the open canteen (at youngsan, it's the burger king-kFC). You cant even get into the PX without mil ID for everyone.
And if you manage to negotiate all that, are the parents of all your students going to be agreeable with their kids being on an American base? Doubtful.

I think a field trip is a great idea. I'm sorry, I don't know of any English only zones except villages.
