Now, I'm going to sue Sea-Tac for not having Christmas decor and trees. Maybe that'll get them to put them up again. Laughing

What a spinless airport admins. Rolling Eyes

That's not the point and you know it. It's about a minority trying to infringe on the rights and traditions of the majority. I would understand if most American's were Jewish, but THEY'RE NOT!

If it's not a symbol of anything, why demand to take it down?

Well seeing as that is one of the oldest and skankest airports I have ever been in, maybe they could spend less money on trees and more on making the place look better or perhaps a new airport all together.

Rabbis are entitled to file such lawsuits. The rest of us have the option of wearing "Mel For Prez" bumper stickers and seek investigations into human rights abuses against Palestinians et al.

"The Rabbi Who Stole Christmas".

The Isreali lobby reminds us that Israel is a liberal Western democracy just like the US and thats why they deserve so much aid every year. whats up with The Star of David on the flag then? Sounds like the Islamist state of Iran, except for Jews.

The spin... stops here...

So where does it say the trees were replaced with a menorah? Which sentence did you read that said they replaced the trees with a menorah?

The trees were just taken down -- which is a good thing considering it's a public airport, and the money spent to set up those trees should've been used in improving the airport or returning money to taxpayers.

That article's author wrote:
A local rabbi wanted to install an 8-foot menorah and have a public lighting ceremony. He threatened to sue if the menorah wasnt put up, and gave a two-day deadline to remove the trees.

Sounds to me like he requested to do it and was denied, so he said , if not the menorah, then no christmas trees. Sounds fair, but I wonder if he was going to pay for the menorah, or he proposed the airport pay?
