Hey I have a korean girlfriend who had to go back to Korea a few months ago and she's coming back here, Canada, to live with me for a few months before having to go back again.
We're getting really serious about getting married and get her a canadian citizenship. Has anyone here been through the same problem?
I've done some research now and I'm thinking it would be easier for her if she'd walk up to the canadian embassy in Korea for explanations.
How hard is it for a korean to become canadian and what's involved? |

I am Canadian and just got married. We will be moving to Canada in a year or two.
The process does not seem difficult, just lengthy. However, because we are in Korea, it is probably different for us than it is for you.
For us, there's a lot of paper work, translations, and money. Nothing unbearable though.
Online, it says it usually takes 4-6 months for approval. |
