"Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo."

Why is this a complete and grammatically correct sentence?

I think that when I went to school any bright 5th grader could ascertain that it's a perfectly grammatical sentence ...

It'd be pathetic if any English teacher - even among EFL hacks - can't figure that out that it's more than sufficient grammatically, containing a subject, transitive verb, object, and a couple adjectives ...

As a native Buffalonian, I can tell you that what's wrong with this sentence is that there is no such thing as Buffalo buffalo, unless you count the ones in the zoo.
