| Probably should have gotten on this at least a month ago, but... Does anyone out there know of any good choirs in Seoul? If it's not too late, I'd like to sing in one around Christmas time, probably after that too, but I'm not really sure where to start looking. There are obviously tons of churches everywhere, but how many (which ones) actually have good music programs? Are there any smaller, chamber-type choirs out there? I'm not looking for something professional, but at least fairly decent (i.e. most people can sight-read, aren't significantly off-key, intuit dynamics, but can still follow direction, and a director who doesn't find it necessary to yell to get results). Although for Christmas just about anything would be good, I'd like to really celebrate it this year... Mid-range male voice, can sing tenor or bass, learn music quickly, can read Hangul (slowly), and have a flexible schedule. I was raised Episcopalian, if that makes any difference. Help? Thank you. |
