I want one. I think I'm going to buy one online.
First, does anyone have one and what do you think about it? Any recommendations?
They seem to come in sizes from 18 L to 26 L. The only thing is that the doors on most of them don't look like they would hold a decent seal to keep the heat in.
Before I but I want to check them out. However, none of the marts/department stores around here seem to not have them in stock (just toaster ovens). Is there an area of Yongsan that has them? |

How does that compare to that nice looking convection oven in E-mart that sells for around 150,000 won. I sure wish there was one large enough for a small turkey. Does costco sell small turkeys? |

I have this one. I love it. Paid too much for it compared to home(150,000 at Costco), but it works wonderfully. I make bread in it everyday, roast the odd chicken, cook casseroles, etc. It's the one purchase here that I have never regretted. |

I have the one they sell at Costco for 150,000. It's great, you could do a small turkey in it(if you find one), I've roasted 3 chickens in it at once, works great! |

The Emart one is Kohen brand. I bought it at Chuseok, works fine. Cheaper online though with free delivery.
Costco only has huge turkeys - about 8kg. |

If you bought it in Costco, do me a favor and go look at the door on it.
I bought the same model and, after bringing it home, I noticed the door was slightly off kilter. It never seemed to close anywhere near 100%. I brought it back and exchanged it (after lots of haslte) only to find the next one the same. We opened all the ones they had and they all had the same defect.
A week later their purchasing agent told us they had contacted the supplier and that there was indeed a defect.
I ended up just buying on in Canada. |

It is slightly off and I was surprised at the lack of seal, especially on the sides, but I haven't noticed much heat loss. |

thebum,
That's the one I have. The door doesn't seal all that well so it does have a bit of problem holding a constant temperature, but with the fan on, I haven't burned anything yet. My wife on the other hand can burn anything in it.
Bake bread no probelm, roast meats, pizza, lasagna...works very well. Paid 120 for it last year, so not a bad deal now. |
