Ok. I am now finally getting into the Christmas groove. The festive tunes are on constant shuffle and warbling softly in the background.

Just wondering if anyone can suggest a hotel/restaurant in downtown Daegu that puts on a traditional Christmas feast?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions of where I might be able to buy mulling spices?? I would love a glass of mulled wine or two...

Do you know what spices are in a mix? I might be able to throw some together for you.

Cinnamon sticks and nutmeg are easily available in Seoul (although that doesn't help you - sorry!!). I thought that was all you needed for mulled wine.... Question Well, plus some orange peel, brandy and red wine of course! I'm planning on brewing some up myself this weekend, so any tips are appreciated.

I put just ground cinnamon and cloves in my cider (English, not Konglish.) I know where to get ground nutmeg as well. I don't mind a bit of ground residue in the bottom of my cup.

You can get cinnamon sticks (humongous) in any traditional market.

you can use fill your own tea bags to keep the spices from making your drink gritty.
