You do know there is a difference between a PSP (what he is selling) and a PS2 right |

Hi Jade. What's up?
I'd say about 100,000 is about right for a used PS2 these days. Plus a bit extra per game. Focus more on the games that come for it. They run 20,000-40,000 each.
IIRC you have quite young kids. In that case I'd go for a Gamecube; they have more kid friendly titles.
One last thing. I wouldn't recommend most of the software that you are likely to find bundled in for younger kids- unless you want your kids emulating the pimps and mafia in GTA or the kickboxers in the fighting games.
If you want to get an idea of the prices for consoles. Go to Yongsan- there's directions on the tech forum- and go to the basement opposite the lotteria. Plently of used consoles there. Ask around.
Oh and sorry for the derail- I just wanted to help out.
I'd like to make an offer for the PSP but I got a DSLite in July and it's hard to justify multiple consoles to the finance minister (wife.) |

One Way Traffic, I really appreciate your help. I have a seven year old that I am buying for, which do you think would be better, a PS2 or a DS lite? I don't really want her playing those kind of games you mentioned, I didn't even think of that. I can get a DS lite from Australia this weekend as I have family coming over. Can you play sp game boy games in the DS lite. Again thankyou so much. |

The DS lite is a hand held machine (like the Gameboy). Is that what you are looking for? It sounds like you want a console system, so you might try the Nintendo GameCube (or if you really want them to love you, the new Nintendo Wii). IF you get them the Wii (with motion sensor controllers), be careful to understand some kids are getting hurt by them (putting too much energy into it, big shock there, eh?). |
