Dear Daves,
So I picked a school, sent my documents, got my visa number and now I am going to apply for my actual visa. Since I am still in the United States I am sending my documents to the Korean Consulate in Los Angeles and there is a $45 dollar fee associated with the visa application. I asked the recruiter about getting reimbursed for the fee from the school and she said it is not common for the schools to reimburse the visa application fee.
I have yet to apply for the visa and I have a tentative departure date for the 23rd.
Am I being screwed or am I just being paranoid and I should cough up the dough?
Sincerely,
Bobby |

Generally, teachers pay for their visa fee at the Korean Consulate. It's quite rare for a school to pay that. |

Visa costs are yours to pay unless you pre-negotiated differently. |
