I don't like it, and it's been the "Special" for about what, 9 months? Too big, the cheese they use doesn't go well with the burger, and it's too sloppy to eat.

For those of you who have been here for longer than I, have they ever sold the perfect burger--the good ole' "Quarter Pounder with Cheese" here in Korean MickyD's? I'm dying for a big old thick, juicy, sodium-drenched slab of beef, cheese.

They use the metric system here. They don't know what the *beep* a quarter pounder is.

wow you actually consider the mcdonalds quarter pounder with cheese the "perfect burger"? Shocked

there are many good burger places in korea that (imo) are better than mcdonalds.

oh and the big tasty wasnt so bad for fast food standards. it's actually the size of an american whopper. it's way overpriced though...

Really?

What difference should that make to the Koreans? They take 10,000,000 things from US culture, make it Konglish, without knowing what the English means. Now if we're talking anywhere else in the world, I would have referenced "Royale with Cheese."

... this from the guy who eats McDonald's every day. Laughing

Sorry about the delivery. I'll try to say it with Samuel L's accent next time.

It's not too bad, but I still the the BK smokehouse burger is much better.
McD's new 1500 won bacon cheeseburger is a much better value.
Just my two cents.

Then you can start a burger thread. This one is for the exclusive worship of the McDonald's.

If you have a McDonald's poem, or an ode to McDonald's, feel free to post, or perhaps an unpublished novel with McDonald's as the hero, you also may post. If you have an anecdote about when you were in Mesa, Arizona and saw a Supersized fry beat up a perp trying to rob a liquor store, please post. If you've founded a religion based on McDonald's, post your donation requests here. Have you invented a world-saving product thanks to McDonalds? Let's hear about it.

Any more mention of the un-delicious pub-burgers around 'twon will be deleted by the moderators.

Please someone tell me I'll be able to purchase fresh ground beef in SK. McD is not food. In the US, for the price of a Big Mac you can buy enough fresh and lean meat to grill three or four tasty burgers.

Have you ever been soooooo hungry that you absolutely could not wait to get home and cook a freakin burger? I haven't.

It's like some people think of food like I think of having a cigarette. I know that smoking is not good. It's an obsession/addiction---it's BAD. When are the masses gonna realize that eating that crap or any other fast crap, just cause it's there, is not good?

I'm not judging. Do as you wish.

I do plenty trhat is not good for me. When are you fry-guys going to realize that you are as addicted to that crap as I am to smokes, and addicts are to their drug of choice?

Keep it legal, of course, 'cause I might get hungry when I get off the plane. Just realize, addiction to food is as real as heroin abuse.

Sounds crazy, but I stand behind that, and I can back it up if anyone wants to debate for fun. fun-not angry net crap.
