I am looking for an apartment and can't seem to find any decent sites. I don't speak Korean as I just arrived here a few days ago. I'd also be willing to sublet or share with roomates.

I'd like to live close to Itewan, near Noksopyoung St.

And also, is it absolutely necessary that I pay key money?

Any info would be greatly appreciated Smile

same as me....(I want to live in/near Itaewon/that area on line 6). i also am looking to move, and wouldn't mind a roommate either, but it's hard to find a decent place for a decent price. key money is no absolutely necessary. i am checking these sites multiple times every day:

www.nearsubway.com is by far the best site I've come across. Gilbert is very friendly and informative, but can be a bit pricy.

Just click on the the subway line you want, and then the stop you want to be near, and you'll get a bunch of houses 5 mintues away from that particular stop.

That's a cool site Tommy. If I was looking to rent I would definately try those people.

The two best ways I have found

1) Find a real estate office, they will find exactly what you want for a small fee. This saves on time and is easy.

2)Get a korean friend and go hunting for posters on the streets, or telephone polls. There are a million papartments listed at those places. I did this last time and found a good place within a day in the area I wanted. Just look around the area you want to live for posters and you will find lots. You may need a korean to help call the places for you.
