Hi guys,

I'm having to transfer some money to Korea to help pay for medical costs of a relative. I have the option of transferring US Dollars or GB Pounds (as I have accounts in both countries as I worked in both). Which would be better the better currency to transfer? I assume GBP as the exchange rate for GBP is so strong? (I could do with getting rid of the dollars (not to you guys Wink ) but if transferring GBP is more beneficial then maybe not- as you can see I'm no expert on economics so would appreciate the advice Question )

Thanks in advance

I have transferred into Korea using GBP, USD and EUR. There has been no practical difference and the exchange rate has always been fair.

However, if you think that the dollar has further to fall (I do) I'd spend the USD.
