Hi,
I can see how it would work best for the employer, if they put you in the most siutable school, after they have interviewed you.
I expect this is the norm, and the applicants can THEN speak to school staff/native teachers already at the school. Is this correct?
Thanks,
Ken |

Uhh, need more information. Are you talking about public schools? EPIK? Hakwon franchise?
If it's EPIK, I dont know what their placement system is, but you generally don't get a choice where it is. |

Don't trust a recruiter to place you in a 'good' school. If you're applying to EPIK, GEPIK, or SMOE yes, it's the norm to place teachers wherever they choose. |

EPIK, GEPIK, and SMOE are all government organisations that place teachers in public schools. It's a bit of a crap shoot and there's a good chance you get stuck in either an overcrowded urban school with huge class sizes or have to work at multiple rural schools on different days being not so much a teacher as a guest speaker. |
