International Airport? Incheon.
Jochiwon is about 1 1/2 hours on the train southward from Seoul Station.
Closest domestic airport would probably be Daejeon. Jochiwon is about 30 minutes (rough estimate) north of Daejeon. |

I've lived in Daejon for 10 years and I can tell you safely there is NO airport here. Not sure where Tiger Beer is getting his traveling facts from? |

Cheongju is the closest domestic airport to Jochiwon. |

Fly into ICN (incheon airport in seoul). Then tehre should be a bus directly from the airport to Jochiwon (I kinow there is one to Cheongju at least, which is about a 20,000 taxi ride from jochiwon) |

I've lived in Miho and taught at KNUE, next to Jochiwon, for three years. There is a tiny airport in Cheongju, but it does not connect to Seoul.
A. Take the shuttle bus from Incheon to Seoul Station, and take the Mughungwa train to Jochiwon from there. The KTX does not stop there. About 14,000 bus + 7,000 train, I believe.
B. Take the shuttle bus from Incheon to Cheongju, and take a bus or taxi to Jochiwon from there. This is easier but slightly more expensive (about 20,000 + 10,000 for taxi / 1,300 bus. Shop around for taxis and don't be overcharged.
