I enjoy sharing a nice panettone Italian christmas cake with my coworkers during Christmas. When I came here Winter 2003, it was pretty easy to find them. But they're becoming increasingly hard to find. If you enjoy these wonderful Christmas cake, I picked up one for 8,000 won at the bakery in the basement of the Lotte Hotel. I think I saw some for sale earlier in Itaewon. Around the Rocky Mountain Tavern, I think.

I picked one up at the Hanam maket after the ladies lunch. I opened it today and it is kind of soggy. Bummer.

I was introduced to these in Ecuador, Chirstmas is not the same with out them since.

Yeah, the one in Hyehwa is selling the small ones. But last year they were selling them in three sizes. I fear maybe these are left over from last year Smile

They have Bauducco brand packaged ones in Namdemun (at the corner candy stores accross from Alpha). They look like this.
But I haven't seen any freshly made ones.
