Any recommendations of print shops that can produce pre-designed business cards?

If you have any more information such as batch prices, websites etc etc it would be much appreciated... I don't just want the most low budget print shop if the quality suffers but if there are any recommendations of firms whose product is good value for money... then, yea let me know!!!

Thanks!!!!

Best place to go is online Korean sites. You can get good quality cards done and delivered to you, usually within 3 days or so. 500 cards will usually run you 8-12,000won. You can try a site like: http://www.print89.com/ or search for 명함 on Naver.

In the US, I've used vistaprint.com--they're very, very cheap. Don't know if they will ship to Korea though, they might.

you could probably send them a photoshop or illustrator file as most of these places are most likely regular print shops running the business card thing as a cash cow.

Actually, I forgot to mention that places will usually charge you a little more if you send jpg. If you send ai, cdr, quark, or photoshop, you'll get the base price.

Um... anyone know the dimensions that are most commonly used for cards (here in Korea)?

(I think it is usually 2.0 x 3.5 inches?)

I have a question related to business cards: Why do Korean guys in big businesses (like Hyundai) have cards with pretty much NO Korean on them? It looks to be Chinese, or the ancient Korean... but to me the whole card is pretty much unreadable... do they do this to "show off" or something, or is it just the Korean business culture?

Captain, I've got a wallet with several flaps that have pockets for business cards. To the eye, these flaps are the same size, but they are in fact of slightly different lengths (side to side). Indeed, this has been the case with every wallet I've owned for more than 20 years. Some will insist that one flap is for plastic (credit, licence) cards, the other for business cards. I say screw that, I will put business cards in whichever flap I want.

Because of this very slight difference in length of the card pockets between flaps, there are many cards that cannot be accommodated in the narrower pockets without considerable forcing and jamming. And then they're difficult to pry out. I call these "idiot cards", and I call people who have them made up and who give them to me, "idiots". I suggest you pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the length of your business cards.

/rant

I like the time- & cost-savings of online printing, but it's not for me. Not for my business cards. I need to see and feel the paper stock.
