|
|
I've asked this before but it got pushed down the pages somewhere.
If I am to come out to Korea in March this year and look for work how much is a month going to cost me?
Staying in one of those small room things with a bed and a desk (Goeshiwans?)
A cheap cellphone. When I was there last time I had a no frills phone but I have no idea how much is cost.
Anything else?
What area would I want to get a room in for the month?
This is a military operation no room for fun. In find work. Get the correct documents and back to Thailand to process the visa and tie up loose ends here.
Can anybody give me a cost breakdown please. |

300k won for a month (average cost)
A cheap cellphone. When I was there last time I had a no frills phone but I have no idea how much is cost.
30-80k to buy and 10k for 25 minutes airtime (prepaid service)
Anything else?
Food? 10k per day. Transportation, 5-10k per day if you are doing SERIOUS job hunting and getting to/from interviews. Add in another 10k per day for internet (pc-bangs).

Anywhere close to a uni will get you an OK room. The public transportation system here is excellent for getting around.

Realistic figure for a month would be in the range of 1 million won. (US$1000, 550 GBP).
Botom line is in the range of 30k per day and comfortable is in the range of 50K per day until you get a job and get settled. |

That's about what I thought it would be.
Thanks for that.
How does one go about finding a Goeshiwan then? |
