Matisyahu. He's pretty cool, albeit I found his music got tiresome pretty fast. He's a hasidic jew, doesn't perform on (Fridays? Saturdays?), doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, and has even performed with Muslim artists.

He's probably all over Youtube, and I know you can find his stuff on Limewire. Check out some of his stuff from Bonnaroo (2004, I think) when he performed with Trey Anastasio.

He's becoming a major reggae artist, so yes.

i'm not too big of a fan. suburban jewish kid from new york, follows phish around for a while, big on the hippie drum circles and then gets all spiritual. starts doing his pseudo-reggae hasidic thing, alot of his music is pretty lame, spreading the word of judaism in the guise of reggae hippiedom. his lyrics, rhythms and beats aren't too hot either... i saw him in concert in may and i just couldn't get into it. seemed a bit lame to me...
rss Cool

Arrow right now i'm listening to: modest mouse - ugly cassanova
