Hi, I've been unable to enter my Yahoo account since yesterday and I just tried my Google account and Hotmail email account (which I no longer use), and I was unable to get into them either. Each time it says that my account id and/or my password is either invalid or my id/password is incorrect. I've tried retrieving my password and id but with no success. I was just wondering whether anyone else is having a similar problem (on the vague notion that it could be some temporary Korea-related tech foreign-base email problem) as I'm able to log into my Korean Hanmail email account no problem, as well as into discussion boards (such as here) and my Internet banking. I've cleared my cookies and cache but that hasn't helped either.
I ran my Spyware scan and nothing came up, and I'm just scanning now using my Anti-Virus program. I was just wondering whether anyone is experiencing the same, or has any advice on how I can fix this problem. I have a few accounts (web site hosting, analytics etc.) tied in with both Yahoo and Google so it's pretty annoying not to be able to get into either.
Cheers,
Ben |

Did you log on at a PC room anytime recently? If you logged on in a PC room then someone may have gotten your ID and password. It is fun (not for me) to change the passwords and screw the people over. It happens a lot in PC rooms. |

I haven't been to a PC bang for a while though I occasionally log in at work (that's the only public place I log in) so I guess some kid at school might have had some fun messing around with my passwords.
A little more disturbing though is that I went to check on my website (hosted by Yahoo!) and blog (hosted by Blogger, now part of Google) and both are completely down. I'm hoping it's nothing too sinister, it would be a pain if someone hacked my accounts, don't know why they'd bother though it's not like I run a major online business or anything! I've notified both Google and Yahoo, and I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. |

I'm more-or-less an idiot on technical matters, but I know for a fact that all Yahoo sites are completely blocked at my high school - I can't access my email on any school computers. Possibly, you're connected to the same network if your school helped you get connected... |

Refresh (or try again) Yahoo anywhere between 3 and 10 times. You can eventually log onto Yahoo (and other sites I have no fricken clue why I have so much trouble getting to through my school). Well, atleast I can |

Type your desired address into THIS site and if you get in properly, then you need to contact your ISP and ask them to remove the parent block filters from your service. |
