Hey all.

I have a Dell-8200 laptop.
Last night I did something, I don't know what, (cntrl + ?, shft +?) and the screen dimmed to where it looked like it was on power save. I searched around it this morning but couldn't find the right options. I found the power save options but screen brightness wasn't there.

Can anybody give me a couple of suggestions on what folders to look in?
I know it's lame, but even looking online at work today didnt' show anything that helped.

Thanks.

If you're running Windows XP, try doing a system restore. Go back to just before you mucked about with the brightness controls. Should fix it.

At home now. Found the problem. As soon as I booted up, I realized it was on batteries. It's plugged in. There is a problem in the power cord (it's old). I jiggled it a bit, and bingo, back on line.

Thanks.
