Not much to do in Narita. You'll have to get a bus into the city. That'll take about an hour and a half. |

I have stayed at the hotel airport over 10 times...while it is nice after a flight it is very isolated and a long way from Tokyo itself.
It is too far out of Tokyo to make it practical to go into the city unless you have a late afternoon flight out of there.....
You can go into actual narita township, it is OK and nice to look around...ask at the hotel you are staying at and they should be able to help you out. |

Go to the Barge Inn, which is a pub owned by Virgin Airways. It's so named Barge Inn because of the Japanese pronunciation of Virgin. It's on one of the main streets on the way to the Buddhist temple which is very crowded on New Years Day. |
