I know this is totally random but after reading some stories out there, it seems that certain houses do reek of curry smell no matter how much you try to clean it.
Now I'm not against Indians or curry, hell I love curry and murtabak, but being one of the strongest food odor in the world it does sound like you would need to tear the house down to get rid of the smell.
Anything short of that, how do people remove odor from their place? I cook a lot of thai and malaysian curry with the fan on of course but I don't think the owner cares since I live in an apartment. |

Nothing from India even comes close to the smell of kimchee. |

| Try boiling a small pan of vinegar on your stove for a while. You can also put 2 parts vinegar and 1 part water in a squirt bottle and lightly spray anything and everything in the apartment. |

Are you sure about that? *scratches head*
I actually don't notice anything strong about kimchi except for the taste. |

curry (multi-cuisine) and murtabak (mostly SE asian, arab, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murtabak) - do they belong together?
but yes, nothing comes close to the usual smell of kimchee... |
