|
|
I got an offer to teach at a public school with 2 months off paid! My Hogwan wants me to resign, they threw a bunch of money at me and gave me an extra week off on top of the usual 2 weeks. Its the best hogwan I've worked at; we work a lot but its easy going.
What would you do? The one issue I have is that I own dogs and can't go travelling for 2 months. Also I wouldn't want to take them back home with me cause its traumatic for them and its $$. Plus the public school is in a smaller town.
Am I just crazy to even be debating this.....burp! |

| Depneds on if your one of those work all the time kinda guys? 2 months of vacation is 2 months of vaction, 1/6th of the year. Makes 3 weeks look sad plus there is alot of hidden days off for tests, festivals ect.. Then again if you like to stay busy all that free time might be a bad thing. Suppose the biggest thing is how much you like your current setup and what is worth to disrupt that. |

| 2 months of vacations can also be 2 month of overtime/extra work. Even if you don't leave your doggies, 2 month of sitting on your a$$ playing Playstation is better than the same time working. |

| are you sure it is two months of paid vacation? read that contract carefully, if it doesnt say specifically that you get that time off, they might try to pull something on you and tell you that you must come in and work vacation classes. |
