My wife has her eyes on an Explorer.

I don't like Explorers, however. They only have a V-6.

I want something that really guzzles gas, pollutes the ozone, and generally wreaks havoc on the environment.

Yes, ladies and gents, I want a Hummer. But I'll settle for a Durango.

Chevy Suburban, Baby!

37,000 dollars worth of pure environmental havoc!

My new SUV is bigger than a boat.

It's gas mileage is absolutely disgusting.

If we don't start drilling in Anwar soon, I might be forced to walk.

Yes, I picked wisely.

I know discussing what car you should buy is fascinating but......

............I'm more interested in knowing why you are using the red hand of Ulster mural as your avatar?

Are you a proud Ulsterman?

Grrrrrrrr.....

Not funny. Evil or Very Mad

BTW... it's not Anwar... It's ANWR, as in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. The specific area being debated is known as the 1002 area and is the birthing ground for the Porcupine caribou herd and denning habitat for polar bears.

Just FYI.

It comes from years of abuse at the hands of a Scottish mother.

When I was just a little boy, I remember being done up in a kilt with a drum.

Before you could say haggis, I was walking down the streets of Northern Ireland during the Orange March banging away on that drum while the pipes and flutes were being played.

A lot of those neighborhoods were Roman Catholic. We were basically rubbing Tim's nose in the fact that King Billy slew the Papish crew at the Battle of the Boigne.

I guess you could say that I've been brainwashed. I still have trouble looking at a crucifix or a statue of the Virgin Mary. That's how anti-Roman Catholic I was raised.

However, I will say this: If God came down and told me I could no longer support Rangers, then I'd be forced to eat wafers on Sunday, cross myself, become a Fenian, and support Celtic. What other choice is there? Partick Thistle? I think not.
