| They're immature, they want attention, their world is fast-paced and thier sense of time is .... well, I have no idea, except convincing a kid a minute is not a long time is impossible when he's restless and bored. But why must they be so loud? I've been getting headaches lately. I was a quiet kid, and some others are quiet too, but there are too many who make more than enough noise. I'm not sure why. I guess I cannot understand their little worlds. I don't really remember being 10. I can appreciate though that they seem to have a lot more fun than many, maybe most adults, with their noise and activity going at a mile a minute. |

Sounds like you had a bad day. If you do need an answer, I think they are just kids.
Take it easy. |

Why are children so noisy...
They are young, too much energy!
Modulation>>>what's that?
The loudest wins!
Girls must screech, scream, yell and generally cause auditory mayhem for the following reasons!
1. Cute boy
2. Ugly boy
3. Your friend said something funny.
4. Your friend said something at all.
5. There is a boy.
6. I am having a bad day.
7. I am having a good day.
8. If I don't screech the other girls won't let me play in their reindeer games.
9. Your favorite pop star has been seen on a magazine.
10. Your favorite pop star got married.
11. Class is over.
12. Class is starting run for the class room.
13. I found my comb.
14. I lost my comb.
15. The other girl mirror is better than mine.
16. I don't have a mirror.
17. That girl has more markers in her pencil case.
18. I broke the lead in my pencil.
19. I lost my pencil.
20. It is too cold.
21. It is too hot.
Boys make noise because the can and voice is set on one level. Break an adults ear drum.
I love the little buggers! And they are noisy. But I come from a family of 4 brothers and 3 sisters. This is a piece of cake.

And kids have only 2 settings,
1) hyperactive
2) sleepy
Very rare to get them anywhere in between. |

Kids aren't weighed down by the usual social baggage that hits after puberty. They also haven't perfected impulse control yet. This = noise.
I find the whole thing rather charming and remind myself not to grow up too fast |

Sometimes I think that, but often I enjoy dealing with kids. I'm just curious if anyone has a good explanation for their high volume. |

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Jack Fell down, broke his crown, and Jill got pregnant with twins and ended up on welfare with a nasty crack addiction.

There is a physiological reason for it...I just can't recall it right now....something to do with development of senses......it will come back to me one day....sorry |

| Kids are loud because they're having a GOOD TIME! (so rock on kids!). |

| Kids are loud because they are uninhibited. That's why drunks are usually loud, there is less inhibition (definitely true in my case). |
