I hate short days. Even though it's super cold today it's bearable now because each day is longer than the next. On the 22nd we had:
Sunrise: 7:43am
Sunset: 5:17pm

Today we have:
Sunrise: 7:45am
Sunset: 5:20pm

Take that! We have an extra minute of sunlight. And tomorrow yet another one. And another the next day. Man, I hate the winter. Good thing it's been merciful so far aside from a few cold days here and there.

Im with you on that. But from my calculations winter can "take that" even more cuz it looks like we actually got 5 extra minutes of sunlight today.

I read somewhere that lack of exposure to sunlight makes people moody and aggravates those with a tendency for depression to go over the edge, as it were.

Don't know about that, but I like sitting in a street side hof and downing a cold one after work. Now days, by the time work is done, it is dark and depressing. Over the edge...... Laughing

What's wrong with winter? In winter you get to wear those lovely scarves and hats that you have in the cupboard for 9 months because the other months are too hot for them.

I much prefer winter to summer!

..then take them all off when you walk inside before you start to sweat from the stuffy overheating, then put them on again to go out into the cold, then take them off when you get home.. I'm with Mith on this one, winter sucks

Then if you have to take a bus or taxi...you have to take them off again cause they have the heat cranked up.

And you can't read a book outside. Or take out a pen to write something down because it's freezing. If you want to send a message with your phone you can't if you have gloves and if you take them off your hands freeze.

Man, people from Jeju-do that say it's cold in the winter too are gay. "Oh, but it's windy." Whatever. It's -11 here and +3 in Jeju-do. Oh, and it's windy as hell here too. "But it's a humid wind!" Mad
