I was hoping someone out there could give me a little advice on where to apply for a job teaching adults in Korea. Here are my qualifications:
- MA TESOL
- about 2 years ESL teaching experience (adults) at an academy in the U.S.
- native speaker
I heard university jobs would be up my alley, but also that they prefer someone with experience in Korea, which I don't have.
Any advice on where to apply? Thanks! |

blanket the market and then choose what you like best. For universities you will probably need to cold call if you want to get one now. If you can hold out until the next hiring season talk to as many university teachers as you can and find out if their school is hiring. The trend is definitely towards hiring based on internal recommendations rather than an advertisement.
good luck. |
