Im sorry. I have to get this off my chest. IM SO SICK AND TIRED OF THESE PEOPLE!!! Theyre driving me nuts!!!
1. Always spitting left and right. Dredging up these awful globs and casting them out for me to see!
2. The line-cutting: I was there first! Didnt you even have the courtesy to let me go first? Thats how civilized people act.
3. And the open-mouthed lip-smacking its so disgusting!
Ive been in Korea for a long time, and in the beginning I was willing to let things slide a lot more than I am now. Ive had it up to here though. I cant take it any more. The spitting for example. Always hocking disgusting loogies like Why cant Koreans just or casting out gobs of aspersion like These Koreans always. Its a filthy habit people. Please take it into the bathroom and expel it into the toilet where it belongs. The line-cutting. Mithridates, I saw Devs stupid post first and you basically shoved me out of the way to jump in and do your thing right in front of me. And then, you scuttled back to your cantina without even apologizing or acknowledging me in any way. You might be older than me, but thats not how we do things where I come from. Next time Mith, youre getting the elbow. And finally, the lip-smacking. You people are enjoying your repulsive little dish of self-righteousness and you have to let me hear about it? Isnt it enough that your odious little bowl keeps you warm inside? I guess not because you have to noisily smack and slurp it up and then spew it out as if to look at me and say, Dont you wish you were as full of it as I am?
I'm going nuts here. The bastards are grinding me down.
What a day, what a day
If you can look it in the face and hold your vomit.

What do you expect? This is a foreign country where things that are offensive back home are considered normal here.
Learning about a different group of people can only make you a more tolerant and understanding person.
Good luck in your stay in Korea. |

And things considered normal at home will be offensive in Korea, and elsewhere. Travel is supposed to open the mind.....

i understand exactly what your going through, but the others are right, you are in a foreign country. The spitting pisses me off, and often i feel it is directed at me...esp from the ajuma's! as for the line cutting, quit being a bitch and push back in front of them like i do! it makes me sooo f.uken angry that i don't give a *beep* about what they think or anyone else. Just give them a loud, arrogant "excuse me", they wont know what hit them.
but i have two more ye3ars...oh goodie! |

I don't care too much about the other things but the butting in line still drives me nuts. But, as I'm sure many people will tell you, you can always go back home. Nobody's forcing you to stay. |

yup..
The most round about way of posting something. Sounds like my grandpa telling me a story that goes nowhere. Hey geezer..try to post in a logical manner. I do know that you thought you were being witty but it just comes across as hard to read and at the end of the post you realize it was pointless.

people usually only read the first few sentences of any post. particularly if it appears longer than 100 words.
So..be succinct, concise when posting. get your point across with brevity in the first sentence, if not the thread title. |

I saw a Korean guy spit in the subway station yesterday. All I could think is "That's what's causing all the sand in these waegs' vaginas? Christ." Am I the only one who went to junior high? People spit. |

The writing style of the OP is erratic and long-winded as if he was sauced on Soju at the time. What exactly is your point? Foreigners shouldn't get pissed off by the manners (or lack of) of Koreans?
By the way, thanks for the plug. Anytime someone makes mention of me, I feel happy. |

Well this is the second piss-take in two days. The first one was better. This one was pretty good except for the weird Mithridates thing. Too random and senseless. But the incoherent writing style and extreme pronouncements of an entire culture were right on. |

I agree that whining and complaining can be a bit annoying. However, most of these posters are simply venting. You don't have to read the posts if you don't like them.
If you don't like things, change them. We need less banality, and more originality. I'd personally like more freaky weagook stories, or anecdotes about people losing it. Something along the lines of "my hogwan screwed me, so I doused the building with gasoline and set it on fire.... while the students and hogwan owner were still inside" would be acceptable. |
