Downward trend in Cotton Prices is now confirmed

5 January 2007- After rallying in November-December, cotton prices are now falling, as Thursday confirmed in New York. Physical markets are following the same downward trend with the A Index losing 1.10 cent in a single day. Demand may later rebound, however, when China and other net importers will turn to foreign supplies after having digested their domestic production. |

If cotton prices soared, maybe that would open the door for hemp to garner some market share. |
