Has anyone made chicken parm without an oven? I want to make it tonight, but am not sure how to do it, or where to get bread crumbs or mozz cheese. I don't get out of work until late, so Hannam isn't a possibility.
I was thinking of 2 ways:
1. prepare it regularly and bake it in my toaster oven. Downfall is that it woud take forever to cook.
2. cook chicken simmering in sauce, then bread it and throw cheese on it, and toast that in toaster oven for a few min. to brown the cheese.
Any suggestions would be wonderful. |

Every market in Korea has bread crumbs. They use it for Don Kase. You can also find shredded mozzarella everywhere. They use it for pizza. You shouldn't have to go to any great distance. The bread crumbs are plain and you will need to add some oregano, basil and garlic to make it taste right.
After you dip your chicken in the egg and then bread crumbs, just fry it on med. low heat. YOu don't need an oven. Just cover the pan with aluminum foil if you don't have a lid that fits it. |

| Yes I made it tonight and it was so juicy and wonderful! I think I am going to need to make sauce because I can't find any good stuff. |

I've made an awesome Chicken Parm recipe that I do here. It tastes great.
I take the bread crumbs you can find at the local grocery store - they are more like bread flakes and I mix them with parsley, basil (if I have it), garlic salt, garlic and grated pepperjack cheese from Costco (great cheese, adds flavor to everything). I dip the chicken, which I cut into slices in egg and dip in the crumb mix and fry in butter in a pan. It is supper easy and tastes soooo good.
I've been having fun experiementing with cooking here. |
