Hey all,
I have decided to be very brave and NOT show up at my empty school during the last two weeks of February. Well, they did say, "Go to school and think about how to be a better teacher." So I figure why think about it when I can do it....
I want to do a TEFL course in Korea. Is it possible to do a 120 hour course in two weeks? Sounds like a silly question, but what is 120 hours? Classroom instruction? Study hours? Proposed module time?
I would like to do it either in Daegu or Seoul. Busan would be ok too.
As I don't use credit cards any more, I can't sign up for an online course.
Is it possible to go to a place in Korea, pay for a course, pick up the study guides, and do the course online? I will be going home for a couple of weeks in February and if I can do the course (at least parts of it) online, then I can get started in late January.
Also, I have heard that EPIK only accepts 120 hour courses, but beyond number of hours, are they acceptable?
Sorry about all the questions.
Any advice or information is welcome. |

Might just try going to the place and asking. Doubt you can do a 120 hour course in 2 weeks. |

I would just go, but I am geographically 'nowhere' in Korea. Two hours by train to Daegu, 4 or 5 to Seoul. I did some searches, but they all seem to offer similar things. I just don't know waht the slight differences mean...and what is more or less acceptable when using it as support for an application... |
