If my mother saw that she'd probably have a heart attack.
I'm a meat-eater, so I know it's somewhat hypocritical, but I still can't get used to the idea of beating animals to death. |

| Not so bad. Much the same as any other animal. A little unhealthy in the preparation of the meal. Not shocking at all. You ever see a cow butchered for meat..much the same. We don't beat to death a cow but the end result and process of butchering is similar. |

I've only watched the first two minutes because it's too graphic for work but those people aren't Koreans, the main guy was white and speaking what sounded like Spanish, but they do appear to be following the traditional Korean method of hanging and beating...sadly for the dogs....although the hanged dog appeared already dead when hanged and, well, you know the rest. Every dog soup enthusiast I speak to tell me dogs are electrocuted and slaughtered quickly these days for the most part.
If you're sensitive to gory animal stuff, SIMPLY DO NOT watch this movie. You've been warned. I don't wanna see a single whiney reply to this, because you've no excuse for having even watched it! |

I didn't watch the link, because I already know how they traditionally do in the dog here.
My friends saw this happen from their window, in Incheon; the guys across the road did that on their roof. It took about five minutes for the poor little pup to stop thrashing.
To be fair, the dogs do have a better life here than, say, a KFC chicken, or a McDonald's cow. The difference is that the dogs here sometimes have an incredibly bad death. |

That may be so, but anyone who looked at the clip can see that this is not in Korea.
It's the Finnish (I think) word for dog "koira" that's being used not some random spelling for "Korea". Looking at the clip I'd guess it to be in S.E.A, maybe Indonesia. |

Traditionally, the dogs are burned alive in Korea. Gets their juices flowing and thus they transfer their stamina to those (old men) who eat them. Retarded, really. Like eating tiger liver or snake heart or whatever.

"Viagra, people. Viagra," says Mack the Knife.
Too true. Viagra is swedish for 'Good Sense.' |
