a truly gorgeous-looking Korean girl dating a foreigner
I don't mean just pretty or sexy but the kind that's a little hard to just even talk to
(Someone who looks like Kim Tae hee for example)

In my 3 years here I have only seen that once and that guy was trying to break up with her^^

My friend says the real beautiful Korean girl usually dont date foreigners because they dont feel the need to learn English....they get so much much attention from Korean guys that they don't need to look elsewhere

It's kind of a stupid statement because thats not the only reason they learn English but I guess it's true in many cases

Despite the Trollish nature of this thread, Iwill add that the wife and I were watching Korean TV the other day and they had on this older Korean movie star. She was showing the camera crew around her house. And, sure enough she is married to an American.

Now, I don't know when they got married; she looked in her 40s but she looked pretty good. She must have been quite fine her prime.

He was older and distinguished looking. He must have been some kind of international executive. He got himself quite the catch. So, yeah, well to do Korean women, hot or otherwise, do marry "foreigners."

I forget where but there was another discussion on TV about Korean and "foreign" standards of beauty. The show was discussing the beauty of Korean brides of Hollywood movie stars such as Nicholas Cage, Wesley Snipes and oh yeah, Woody Allen. The program dissed all their brides as less than desireable and speculated that foreign tastes were just different.

For what it is worth, I thought Woody's bride (whatever her name) was quite nice. She looked very natural, innocent yet confident. Anyway, I am not sure I can describe it but it is very possible that Koreans and foreigners look for different things in a spouse. Personally, I hate the gobs of make up many Korean women wear -- just my taste -- it is not meant to be a value judgement.

Bottom line is that beauty is in the beholder. And, it is not a commodity. I think these are things the OP has forgotten.

I did before. One of them paid for all the dates and took me to some high end establishments too! Truly gigalo, but it only lasted about a month and a half. Dated another girl who was a ballet dancer. Quite stunning in all senses of the word.

Had a couple friends that did too. It's not as rare as you may think.

It's rare to see any women or men have both beauty and brains in one package. From this statement you can pretty much deduce that I think most of the beautiful K ladies are dumb golddiggers. Much easier to dig into a rich K man's pockets. K men are pretty pathetic people who generally shower K women with whatever they demand. They have no pride. They don't try at all to hide it either. Beautiful K women exploit them to hell.
