|
|
Ghost has accepted a job in Pyeongtaek city, south of Seoul.
Is anyone else there? The job is that of ``teacher-trainer`` at the Gyonggi Institute of Foreign Languages, teaching Korean teachers how to teach English.
Ghost is currently taking care of the visa process, and will probably arrive at the end of March.
What is Pyeongtaek like for biking, jogging, swimming, playing tennis, and generally living the sporting life after work (job is 9-5, Mon/Fri)?
How safe is it to use a bike in the city limits?
Thanks for any feedback, and feel free to p.m. if anyone wants to hook up for 4 mile (30``mins) jogs on a regular basis, once ghost gets there.

| Jejujitsu thinks Pyongtaek is the armpit of Korea...well, not yet, but when the ghost arrives, it will be. |

| GIFLE is in Anjung, which is "part" of Pyeongtaek, but at least 30mins' drive away. |

Had a friend there, they did a runner.
It's a small town, not much going on, there is the largest red light district I've ever seen though.

| Race Traitor has had a few friends down in that area before, although most of them were military. The best thing about it is it's not too horribly far from Seoul, although you could be closer. |
