You dont have to be published or an experienced writer to join DAWG, just love listening to words and putting them together. All genres welcome.
We are a small but growing group and meet for a few hours on most Saturdays from around 5pm, at the Book Caf downtown. Sometimes Sundays instead.
You dont have to provide copies of your work in advance: we just read our writing out loud to each other then have a good chat about it all.
For more details &/or to get on the emailing list, call Rachel on 010 3040 2209 or email [email protected] |

I'm hours away from Daegu, but that's an awesome acronym. |

Cheers man. Plus our venue has San Miguel and Dr Pepper and nachos. And old typewriters. And you can watch people play golf on the third floor of the building across the way. Which is odd but awesome. It's worth a long trip. |

In future all DAWG meetings will be held from 5pm until about 7 (sometimes we go for dinner together afterwards too) on SUNDAYS, at the Book Cafe. PM me if you'd like a map or more details. |
