|
|
I am considering teaching in China after my contract here in Korea, possibly at a university. But I'm unfamiliar with the pay, living conditions, etc. etc..
Has anyone worked as an ESL teacher in China, who is now working in Korea? If so, how would you compare the two, as regards to: pay (saving), things to do, cleanliness, and the people. Am I missing anything?
Thanks in advance for any heads up or information! |

The living costs are way down, but so is the wage. It's not a great way to save money up.
I have a friend who spends six months in Beijing where he smokes drugs and plays music, then he comes to Korea for a month, makes 3 million won, then goes back and slacks around Beijing again, living off the money he made in Korea. It's a good system. |
