If a person stays at the same school for a number of years or changes school after each contract.
Which looks better? I refer to how employers will perceive you in Korea.
If I renew my contract in May, it'll be my 3rd year at the same school (GEPIK elementary). |

obviously staying at the same school shows stability and more importantly desirability: they wanted you to re-sign multiple times
I spent 3+ years at my first hagwon and nearly 3 years at my second now and just mentioning that has impressed some prospective employers as i decide in the next couple of weeks whether to re-sign here for a 4th year or move to another part of the country |

As long as you can explain the transitions without seemingly badmouthing all of your ex-employers it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you wanted to see a different part of a city or the country, for example.
If ALL of your ex-employers were terrible, it starts looking like you have a problem knowing what to look for in a potential employer or how to pick a position that will provide you with long term satisfaction.
Keep in mind that potential employers will often call your ex-employers (and current employers) even if you don't list anyone from those places as references. This can put you in an awkward position with your current employer in the Korean culture, but is usually unavoidable if you're serious about making a move. |

if your employer is bad, or the job just isn't for you, leave after a year, but I think it looks good to show employability by having two years at a school, especially in the esl industry. |
