I worked in Korea for 5 years and now find myself in a position where I would like/must (?) return albeit with my son who is almost two years old. Does anyone have any idea of the cost of a creche/daycare, someone who could come to my place for 6-7 hours per day or any other alternative. I have a job offer but must ensure that my son will be well taken care of. I am Canadian, my son is a CDN/German citizen. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Please feel free to email me: [email protected] |

Daycare is cheap--a few hundred bucks a month. Having someone come to you to look after your son is going to be a little more expensive. Your best bet is to wait till you get here and start visiting places to see what they're like, or rely on the recommendations of specific places. That said, I wouldn't send my child to a place just because someone on this board suggested it. So what I'm really saying is you'll have to wait till you can check daycares out in person, particularly since you're emphasizing the necessity of quality care. |
