Happy New Year.
What exactly is the procedure for registering a second place of employment??? As it stands now - I have the go ahead from my current boss - and a potential new boss who has no previous experience with hiring a foriegn teacher.
Whats the scoop??
Any information would be greatl. |

When you are you new director's office, ask to borrow the phone. Call immigration and ask for a person who speaks English. When that person tells you everything you need. say "Now tell that to my director in Korean". Then pass the phone to the director and say immigration wants to talk to him/her. Give him a pencil and a note pad. Done deal. I did it this way about 5 or 6 times. |

You will need both plus the folloowing
A letter of permission stamped by your current hogwan
Your working schedule of both hogwans
A contract between you and the new part time hogwan
the part time hogwans bussiness license
Some other license..of the part time hogwan (can't remember the name I think Ministry of Ed)
And you will need your passport and arc card.
You will have to pay money for your E2 addition
Your new hogwan may need to be inspected before immigration gives your updated documents back (arc and passport) if they have not had a native speaker employed there before. This can take a week or two.
I can't remember what else .. but that is why you should call and find out for yourself. |
