Aloha,
Canned, fresh-frozen, smoked, it doesn't matter.
I'm talking about Alaskan red sockeye salmon, preferably King salmon. Not white crap, or pink. Not Norwegian pink crap, either. (HomePlus carries white salmon in tins, which is throw-away meat).
I know I can get it shipped from Kodiak but it's an arm and a leg.
Guessing some place in Seoul might have it.
Much obliged. If I see another can of tuna, I'll heave. |

The best place to find salmon is Costco. They have fresh Canadian salmon in the meat department (king or sockeye... I can't remember which). They also have frozen salmon steaks in the freezer section, but they are Atlantic farmed.
I haven't seen any decent Alaskan salmon here.
BTW....

...you do realize that king and sockeye are two different varieties right? (King=chinook, red=sockeye) |

I'll take another, closer look at Costco. I didn't scrounge the freezer section. The only fresh salmon was pink.
Yes, I know King is a different species. Sometimes prefer chinook, sometimes red.
And some walleye or river trout would be nice right about now. |
