Lately when dl from something like demonoid, though there may be up to 100+ hosts, the speed wont go over 100 kbs. With 100 hosts it should surely be a lot higher right?
What might be some of the causes of slow dl speeds? |

i heard a rumour that there were some issuses recently (last weeek or so) with one of the optic fibre pipes that services asia....if this is true than it's probably the cause of slow speeds.
but then i havn't really noticed any difference |

Indeed there was a serious network problem somewhere in Taiwan which caused a temporary disruption to their neighbouring countries. Shouldn't be a problem now.
It may well be the standard speed of your network, ISP, computer etc etc. |
