I seem to remember reading that some people have had problems registering their half Korean baby, half waygookin baby at the Gu office because of name difficulties.
How does it work exactly? I know typically a Korean kid would go under the dad's name. But since I don't really have one at the Gu office (when married, they stuck me under the wife's name), I imagine the kid will go uner the wife's name. Are they gonna have problems registering the kid as JONES, LEAH CHRISTINE (for example). Does it have to be KIM, LEAH CHRISTINE??
Does the name problem later cause more problems when registering for passport etc.
